The three-piece indie rock group The Trophy Fire is back from their mid-west tour with Dregd, and set to release their latest album entitled ‘Modern Hearts’ (available October 18th). To commemorate their heartfelt third release, vocalist Ben Flanagan, and brothers John and Adam Schuman, are scheduled to hit the road with fellow indie rock band Bird By Bird. If their familiar sound serves any comparison to their recent visit (The Nothing To Something Tour), we’re in for a genuine and vibrant night.

Fresh out of the studio, James Belliston prepares to release his latest and most anticipated solo EP entitled ‘Speak With Your Eyes’. Although its release date has yet to be announced, the upcoming solo record is already beginning to generate buzz. Recorded by, and featuring former Saosin vocalist Cove Reber, the 5-song EP is said to be James‘ most experimental solo record to date. A progressive transition from his familiar acoustic sound, to an ambient style surrounded with electronic undertone. Cove states “I’d say… you’re gonna be like the Kurt Cobain, of like the Owl City, [The] Postal Service genre of music. He’s the one that’s gonna revolutionize it.” Be sure to check back for the latest details on the album and its release.
