Voting for the Best Buy Music Gear Battle Of The Bands has come to a close, as I Capture Castle has been chosen to play the Denver, Colorado stop of this year’s Rockstar Uproar Festival. Be there early to see them kick off the all-day event on the Best Buy Music Gear Stage at Comfort Dental Amphitheatre, Colorado’s 22,000 capacity venue. Prepare yourself for a full day of uproar, product giveaways and contests, meet your favorite bands, and take photos with contestants from Sullen Art Collective’s Miss Uproar.
Inaugurated in 2010, the Uproar Festival is an annual hard rock/heavy metal tour created as a replacement for the recently discontinued Taste Of Chaos. For the first time, the festival hosted the Best Buy Music Gear Battle Of The Bands, powered by Ernie Ball. Official rules and judging criteria were identical to the recent Ernie Ball Battle Of The Bands, however only one winner was chosen to play at each U.S. stop of the tour. Competing with thousands of bands across North America, I Capture Castle has been selected as one of 26 finalists to move on for a shot at the grand prize, including a spot to play live on the entire 2012 Uproar Festival, editorial coverage in Guitar Player Magazine, $10,000 in music gear, and more.
